An adult stork has just landed on the nest on a roof of one of the houses, where its four hungry chicks wait for their next meal. As storks do not actually feed their young from bill to bill as many other birds do, the parent throws the food to the bottom of the nest and the chicks rush to help themselves. There is also a family of tree sparrows nesting within the large dwelling occupied by storks. This is why at 0:13 we can hear chirps of tree sparrow chicks begging for food and occasional louder calls of adults, busily flying to and fro. From 1:34 a goldfinch starts to sing in the background, at times roosters crow nearby.
